Historic Huguenot Street Receives $2 Million State Grant
We're thrilled to see our clients at Historic Huguenot Street receive this funding from the New York State Council on the Arts! Their new Visitor and Education Center will help to better preserve and interpret the unique history of one of New York's most significant historic preservation resources.
Historic Huguenot Street in New Paltz has been awarded a $2 million capital grant from the New York State Council on the Arts to support construction of a new visitor and education center. The funding is part of an $82.2 million statewide arts infrastructure initiative and brings the organization’s total funding for the project to $5.6 million.
The planned $7 million facility will include administrative offices, archives, and expanded educational spaces, enhancing the visitor experience while preserving and sharing the rich history of one of the Hudson Valley’s most significant pre-Revolutionary settlements.
