Yonkers’ recent $10 million DRI award represents a major win for the city, advancing its long-term vision to reconnect downtown neighborhoods with the Hudson River, expand public access and walkability, support housing and local businesses, and build on Yonkers’ momentum as a dynamic center of creativity, culture, and economic opportunity.

This kind of progress does not happen by accident. It reflects strong local leadership, a clear and compelling vision, and sustained collaboration across government, economic development, and community partners.
